Rent payable to Two Castles Housing Association is due at the beginning of each week (or monthly if you are a shared owner or a leaseholder). It’s important to pay your rent on time to avoid falling into arrears.
Where can I pay my rent?
Two Castles Housing Association offers a wide variety of ways to pay your rent, details of which are shown below:
- At a Paypoint outlet
You can use your swipe card at any location which displays the Paypoint logo - you can pay by cash, cheque or debit card. For your nearest Paypoint facility, please click here - By Standing Order
If you would like to pay your rent by Standing Order, please click here to contact your local office for a Standing Order form. You must then complete this and return to your bank or building society. - At any Post Office
You can pay your rent at any Post Office, by using your swipe card. You can pay with cash, cheque and postal order. - At Two Castles local offices
Rent can be paid by cash, cheque or postal order at any local office (with the exception of Kendal) - Telephone/online banking
You can pay rent by telephone or online banking. You must quote Two Castles Housing Association’s details:

Sort code 20-18-47.
You must also quote your rent account number as the reference number if you choose to pay this way.
- By post
If you would like to pay your rent by post, please send a cheque or postal order, quoting your account number, name and address. Please do not send cash in the post.
All cheques must be made payable to Two Castles Housing Association.
If you fail to keep up with rent payments, your account will fall into arrears. At this point, the Association will contact you to advise you of the outstanding balance and to request payment.
If you fail to respond or fail to keep to agreements to repay the debt in a reasonable time, legal proceedings will be started. These legal proceedings could ultimately result in the loss of your home.
