TWO CASTLES TEE OFF FOR SUMMER WITH A SWING

Two Castles Housing Association is inviting teams to take part in its annual Charity Golf Day, to be held on 9 July 2008, at Stony Holme Golf Club, Carlisle.

Last year sixty eight people from all over the North East and North West took to the greens to raise funds for local charities - the Eden Valley Hospice, Hospice At Home (Carlisle and North Lakeland), the Sunbeams Music Trust, and the Royal British Legion (Carlisle and Stanwix branch).

Stephanie Murphy, chief executive of Two Castles Housing Association, said: “We hope lots of people will join our Charity Golf Day. It’s not only a great way to spend the day - enjoying a round of golf with good company – but at the same time raising money for many worthwhile local causes."

All are welcome, with prizes given for team achievements and for individuals, including awards for the longest drive and the tee shot nearest to the pin. Individual golfers who wish to play as part of a team, will be able to do so.
