STYLISH AFFORDABLE LIVING IN WAKEFIELD CITY CENTRE
Two Castles Housing Association has teamed up with Assettrust Housing to offer first time buyers in Wakefield a chance to get onto the property ladder.
The association will manage 64 elegant and affordable one and two bedroom apartments at Assettrust’s Woodlands Village development, just one mile from Wakefield city centre.
Two Castles owns and manages over 3,300 affordable homes across the North. This is the second time Two Castles has worked with Assettrust Housing, enabling it to offer affordable housing without using Government grants or public money.
Dave Armstrong, housing services director at Two Castles, said: “We are committed to the provision of affordable homes in areas of high demand and I am delighted to further our partnership with Assettrust.”
Two Castles will be managing rent and service charge collection at Woodlands Village in Wakefield as well as managing resident involvement through consultation services, an area the association has vast experience in.
Customers can benefit from a shared ownership scheme enabling them to part own and part rent one of the modern apartments which boast enviable features such as oasis garden settings, fully fitted kitchens including appliances, wood laminate flooring and a superb location.
Frank Newell, property services director at Assettrust, said: “We are delighted with our partnership with Two Castles Housing Association which provides excellent services to buyers of our schemes in the region.”
In 2006 Two Castles was announced as Assettrust’s preferred partner in the north. Assettrust is a private investor which provides homes for rent and shared ownership across England and Wales.
It works with local authorities and developers to acquire new homes which are made available to people who most need them and plans to fund 10,000 new affordable homes over the next five years.
