Two Castles Housing Association sets up new residents panel

Two Castles Housing Association is inviting its residents to have their say by setting up a new panel designed to gather resident feedback.

The Association is dedicated to engaging with its residents to continually improve its first rate service standards and has set up a Readers Panel as part of this ongoing commitment to resident feedback. The panel provides Two Castles Housing Association with resident opinion on company literature and its resident newsletter Fanfare.

Jonathan Cannon, involvement and equality officer at Two Castles Housing Association, said: “Resident feedback is extremely important to us and we set up this new panel as a way of effectively collecting their views. The Readers Panel has two components, the first aims to continually ensure that the content and format of Fanfare, our in-house magazine, is accessible and relevant to all residents. The panel reviews the content of Fanfare, offering new ideas for Two Castles to consider and also encourages more residents to send stories or photographs for publication.

“The second objective of our Readers Panel is to review our current list of advice leaflets, including commenting on their design, format and the wording – for example considering whether residents who have sight issues would be able to clearly see the text size.”

Stephanie Murphy, chief executive of Two Castles Housing Association, said: “Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and we want them to tell us what they think about services such as our leaflets and Fanfare, so we can continually improve what we do for the better. I am pleased the Readers Panel is encouraging this continued dialogue with our residents and look forward to hearing their continued feedback.”
