Two Castles Housing Association has raised £3,135 for charity by holding its annual corporate golfing day.

Held at Stony Holme Golf Club in Carlisle, the event raised money for the Carlisle Youth Zone, the Henry Lonsdale Trust and the Livingwell Trust, which are all the Mayor of Carlisle’s charity funds. A total of 19 teams from businesses and organisations throughout Cumbria and the North East took part in the golf day, including a team led by Mayor of Carlisle, Mary Styth.

Stephanie Murphy, chief executive of Two Castles Housing Association, said: “Our annual corporate golf day is traditionally a great success and is a fantastic way of bringing people together to raise money for very worthwhile causes. Two Castles Housing Association is delighted to be able to help support its local communities in this way.”
