Two Castles employees are its building blocks

Two Castles Housing Association is further endorsing its reputation as a first rate employer by maintaining its Investors in People (IIP) standard for the third time.

With a team of over 100 staff members across the North, Two Castles Housing Association is dedicated to its employees and the IIP award, administered by Investors in People UK and supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), recognises businesses that continually invest in staff. The assessment takes place every three years and the Association also received IIP accreditation in 2003 and 2006.

Stephanie Murphy, chief executive of Two Castles Housing Association, said: “We are delighted to receive the IIP accreditation for the third time as we firmly believe that our employees make a key contribution to making Two Castles Housing Association the leading provider of affordable housing and resident services that it is today.

“We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the recent report, which recognised our dedication to employee engagement at all levels, as well as the ways in which we value our staff, for instance through long service awards.

“Our competency framework, which clearly outlines knowledge, skills and behaviour guidelines to managers, was also praised. Additionally, the report highlighted that equality and diversity is taken seriously within our organisation for both staff and residents, and specifically mentioned our recent appointment of an involvement and equality officer.

“IIP is a prestigious, national accolade and it is great to receive this standard again as it recognises our commitment to the continuous development of our staff at Two Castles Housing Association.”
